Women's Work

Opened on September 23, 2003, the new Fikso Family Center is an answer to much prayer. A much needed transition from an 11 bed facility to this new homey atmosphere that will take up to 60 persons. Rooms are arranged to allow for mothers and children to live together. There are rooms allowing several single women to reside together. There are two rooms for husbands and wives to be together as well along with their children. There is a lounge and recreational area. There is a prayer room. Arts and Crafts rooms are provided for both adults and children. Of course, there is a laundry room as well.

The Fikso Family Center provides a place of safety and sobriety. This is a place where Jesus Christ can not only be taught but also known. The total cost of $1,800,000 was provided through private foundations and the caring citizens of Josephine County. Located at 530 SW Foundry in Grants Pass, Oregon, the Fikso Family Center is a giant step forward in the way Christians can express the love of Jesus to those women finding themselves in need.
