Men's Work
This is the main residential facility for men. There are 22 beds in our 2,700 sq. ft. facility, but we average approximately 43 men in daily residence. In this facility the men are counseled, served hot meals, and taught from the bible. All of the meals are served from our 32 sq. ft. kitchen. From this kitchen the cooks serve up an average of 150 meals each day. There are 2 showers, 3 toilets and 3 sinks to handle the 43 men. We definitely need a larger facility!
In 1999, Keith Heck and Ausland Builders created blueprints for a new 23,000 square foot Men's Residence. It will be called Wagner Hall. As of December 15th, our $3.1 million building budget was met. This wonderful and badly needed facility is being constructed directly to the West of the Fikso Family Center, 530 SW Foundry in Grants Pass. This new “home” will hold up to 78 men. In addition, there will be social services offices, a counseling office, a commercial kitchen and dining room seating for 100 as well as a Chapel seating for 100. The Administration offices will also be located in this building. Praise God! Furnishing the new facility will be the final step in this 10 year endeavor.
