  • God is good!

  • Praise be to His holy name! The Collins Foundation's $70,000 Matching Grant for the Community Recycling Center has been met! 35 various individuals, businesses, organizations and churches provided the necessary $70,000 to satisfy this goal. This will allow us to complete all construction payments, to purchase a pneumatic-tire forklift, a strap cutter, a loading ramp, and two pallet jacks. All of these items are needed to see the work of the Community Recycling Center [CRC] become fully functioning as a community recycling strength. Enjoy His goodness.

  • CRC Update

  • Baler is in. Strap-Cutter is operating. Bottles and Plastics are being sorted and separated. Cloth is being baled. Cardboard is being baled. A loaded 40' trailer was just picked up for safe delivery to the main recycling plant. Soon there will be the first revenue check received from the re-opened Community Recycling Center facility. Praise God! Praise God!

We are still about $20,000 short on reaching our $70,000 goal to satisfy a Matching Grant from the Collins Foundation. This represents a great need for us in that we yet must have a pneumatic-tire fork lift that will enable us to work on the dirt. We also need a forklift ramp that will allow us to access the trailers with a loaded forklift rather than having to handle the 900 pound bales trying to figure out ways to stack them. Safety is a high priority.
