CRC Back at it!

Hallelujah! The new Community Recycling Center is once again a reality! We held our grand re-opening on August 20th and enjoyed good TV news coverage - our local paper, The Daily Courier did not show up though they did do an article a week or so beforehand. Not all of the necessary equipment is on hand and operational though we did purchase a new vertical baler and plastic strap cutter. We have a used forklift to move the heavy pallets with finished bales. We can directly load trailers that are parked alongside the building. The enclosed and secure building is about 45' wide by 100' long. We will have a fence installed all round the property in a few days that will provide for security as well as a clean and organized site inside the fence.

We still have about $20,000 to see provided for the CRC Building Fund that will allow us to satisfy a $70,000 Matching Grant from the Collins Foundation. We are awaiting the Lord's hand in meeting this provision but we also realize that He is perfectly faithful.
